If you missed the great chat tonight with Michele, I've posted some of the main points here:

Dianne, thanks for the info on attire.  I will be okay with everything except Saturday night.  I have stuff but haven't looked in that closet for about 2 years.  Wonder what i might have that will both fit & be appropriate.  Maybe it would be easier to shop./.......Oh NO!!  That was Jack's job.  I hate that I have to shop for my own clothes.  UGH!!

Thanks again Dianne.  I am so excited about Camp Widow.  I realllllllly need this!!!!

I see there are 8 people who might attend listed here. Have any made up their minds? No time like the present to change your rsvp to a yes... I can't wait to see that total hit 50 villagers...

Received an email from Widows Wear Stilettos with an answer on what to wear that I found very helpful, so thought I'd share here:
DAYTIME ACTIVITIES/FRIDAY EVENING:  This is "Camp" so we want you to be comfortable. During the day and on Friday evening, you'll see people in jeans, shorts, tank tops, capris, denim skirts, maxi dresses, sundresses, it runs the entire spectrum. You might even enjoy wearing your Widows Wear Stilettos t-shirt that is part of your welcome gift.  For most of Camp, the name of the game is comfy-casual.

SATURDAY EVENING "SEMI-FORMAL" BANQUET:  You will see a little bit of everything at the banquet.  Carole always wears evening cocktail attire (short and dressy) but you will see everything from dressy pantsuits to full length dresses.  You'll see short, you'll see long, you'll see pants...you probably already have something in your closet that will do just fine.  Men are generally in suits or suits without ties or shirt and tie or something along those lines.  Enjoy the opportunity to dress it up a little!

Yes, kfw - but I believe it is filled up.  Check the Hyatt next door - I think it's called the Manchester Hyatt.  Lee actually got quite a deal there ... 3 nights for the price of 2!

Oh no, bryswife!  I'm sorry you won't be able to make it. Hope your surgery goes well and recovery is speedy. Keep in touch with us here to let us know how you're doing.
