judy the ferry sounds like so much fun--but I won't be there till late afternoon early evening. dang! See you at Camp!

24 hours from now and we'll have met one another! Safe travels everyone.

FYI -

• The hotel is just 3 miles from the airport. Shuttles are available for less than $10.
• The hotel is just down the street from the Convention Center (111 West Harbor to 333 West Harbor). While the daily parking fee at the convention center is cheaper than the hotel ... there is no in/out privileges, so you would have to pay again each time you left and returned. And if there are events at Petco Park, the daily fee may increase.
• Event Schedule
• The workshops and events will all be held on the hotel property.
• It's a big hotel - 2 towers - 1305 rooms (Myrtle Beach had 397 rooms).
• The hotel is on the marina, not right on the beach

Hi Goingon, All Camp events are at the Hotel, this one by the pool. The convention center is adjacent but we don't have anything planned for there this year. I won't be at the meetup but look forward to meeting you on Friday or Saturday!!

So, where is the actual event happening on Friday on Saturday?  At the hotel, or the convention center?  I'm not real clear on it. I have my schedule I chose, but it's just a one page printout; I never did find anything like description of the sessions...Anyone?

Judy - I'd love to take the ferry with you, but I probably won't get there until 4 or so depending on traffic,and I really want to meet everyone by the pool! It got very, very hot up here suddenly - but that's typical for our summers... cool for a bit then suddenly the thermometer just hits that 100 mark.... ugh.
