This will be the second Christmas without Janet. However, I write her a card every holiday and one from her to me. I open them on the appointed day. Just found a sealed Christmas card from several years back that I did not give her (normally gave her 2 or 3 cards).

As long as it does not snow or rain on Christmas day I will be heading back to Cape May (where we got engaged and married). Bring some lunch and open the cards, including the one I found.

This is absolutely beautiful!!!!!!

And amazing!

I tried to have a dinner or lunch out with the kids on my Melinda's birthday, but they weren't so keen.  I'm not even sure if they know what her birthday is any more...we don't - they dont' forget when she passed away because it was...2 days before my son's 18th birthday.

But...I need to do something like you...that's just between her and I...

Sounds like a wonderful idea... I'm happy you found that card...
