My daughter was in a serious car accident this morning.  She was driving to Kansas City.  She has been airlifted to a hospital three and a half hours from here.  All my son-in-law knows is that she is "stable" and has a fractured or broken pelvis.  Does anyone know if that is life threatening?  Please, please we need prayers!  Thank you.

My heart goes out to you!!!!!!

NO that is not life threatening - it's serious - but it sounds like she's in the right place.

It will be a recovery that takes some time, but I think she will indeed be oK!!!!!

Agree with Timelord.

My prayers are with you and your family.

Thank you both so much.  I realize this is a widow's forum and this was a different kind of request.  But I am a widow and needed help.  I will never forget that the two of you came forward.  My daughter was in surgery for 5 hours to repair abdominal injuries.  Another two hours for pelvic repairs.  Doctors say she should be fine.  Tonight you are in my prayers.

Sounds like your daughter has take a good strong step on her journey to health!

When you have a moment...in the coming days and weeks...let us know how she and you are doing.

I am praying for you, your daughter, and her husband.
