Lost my husband of almost 48 years last September to Lung Cancer. He battled for 2 years. He was in Hospice for 2 days when he passed away. It has been a busy, overwhelming, past 8 months. So much paperwork to do…etc… I could go to local meetings the hospice told me about. Not ready for that. I know with Covid, it has been so hard for everyone. I hope this finds you all doing as well as you can. Thankyou for accepting me in.

Hi GabrielaS, I lost my husband of 46 years last August. He was my best friend. He died of stage 4 non small cell lung cancer. I was his care giver for 16 months until he lost his fight. The immunotherapy drug, Keytruda destroyed his kidneys…he would have lived longer if not for that drug. I too am apprehensive about live meetings with people right now, may change my mind. I am not in a good place…somedays are better than others, the holidays are the worst. I would like to chat with you via this portal or email for now, maybe phone conversation in the future. I am seeking advice and friendship since my only true friend was my husband. In our youth we had many friends, but over the years we just sort of fell out of the loop and did everything together, sometimes with our only child, our daughter. Hope you reply. Peace to you. Kathy
