I was amazed to see the stereotype of the "widow with a shotgun" come to life in this recent article:

Can you identify with the mother in this story? Do you think she was targeted because of her recent loss?
I am sure we all have different perspectives on gun ownership and so on... but emotionally.... I felt that could have been me at one time, strong and desperate enough to do whatever it takes.
