Tonight during a wonderful chat time it was agreed upon that a quote of the day should be posted here.  Here's one to start.  Please keep this going.

“We keep moving forward, opening up new doors and doing new things… and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths.” –Walt Disney

That sounds like us, as ginadf mentioned.

"From the tiniest idea to the grandest scheme, what makes your flame burn more brightly is the light shining from above, gently guiding the way."  August 4th entry, Journey to the Heart, Melody Beattie

Life must end , love doesn't.

"If ever there is a tomorrow when we're not together, there is something you must always remeber. You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think. But the most important thing is, even if we're apart, I'll always be with you."
- Christopher Robin to Winnie the Pooh

"The Soul always knows what to do to heal itself. The challenge is to silence the mind.'

Caroline Myss

"No Act of Kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted"  Aesop

“I need someone who believes that the sun will rise again but who does not fear my darkness. Someone who can point out the rocks in my way without making me a child by carrying me. Someone who can stand in thunder and watch the lightning and believe in a rainbow.” ~ Fr Joe Mahoney

Yes, me, too.  I was just saying something like this to one of my lifetime friends, about a couple other of my lifetime friends who've seemed to have dropped me.  Thanks for posting this, it says it so well.

This one really speaks to me, Emy!  I read this thread all the time and have saved many of the quotes to read when I need the hope and inspiration to go on.  Thank you all.

Death is nothing at all ... I have only slipped away into
the next room. I am I and you are you. Whatever we
were to each other, that we are still. Call me by my old familiar
name, speak to me in the easy way which you always used.
Put no difference into your tone; wear no forced air of solemnity
or sorrow. Laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes we enjoyed
together. Play, smile, think of me, pray for me. Let my name be ever
the household word that it always was. Let it be spoken without effort,
without the ghost of a shadow on it. Life means all that it ever meant.
It is the same as it ever was; there is absolutely unbroken continuity.
What is death but a negligible accident? Why should I be out of mind
because I am out of sight? I am waiting for you, for an interval,
somewhere very near, just around the corner. All is well.

Canon Scott Holland (1847-1918)

Hi Emy , that is great quote, something to try doing. Thanks for posting it.

Emy, that is absolutely awesome.  Thank you so much for sharing it.  Bless your heart, girl, you are really something.  You find the most uplifting stuff, and I know how bad you are hurting.  Sending appreciation your way, and hopes for a good enough day for you, sweetie.
