Have you thought about going to or gone to a medium to try and make contact with your spouse?  I have thought about it and would love to try it but am not sure how to go about finding a legitamate one.  I would love to hear that he is here with me, watching over me and that he is okay and happy.  Do you believe in them or do you think its a waste of money?  What are your experiences or thoughts.

Hi Judy,

Her name is Melinda Vail, she charges $160, she is getting  very busy so I am looking for another medium, this time I have to wait over 4 months to talk to her and when they are that busy I think quality of conversation may go down, although it has not happened to me. She has been quite good.

I firmly believe in mediums.  Carl and I were more spiritual rather than religious.  I feel him so I KNOW he is here with us.  Whats funny after he slipped into a coma the movie Ghost came on...haven't seen it in forever and it got to the point where Patrick Swayze was contacting whoopi goldbergs character and talk about a good laugh my middle and I had thinking we felt sorry for any medium Carl may choose to contact for any messages for us...he's an honorary stubborn cowboy!  I feel right now for me is much too soon, but seriously considering doing so when the time is right.  For now I take comfort in the little hints he is around and sense of his presence.

I have been to see a psychic twice since my husband passed away on Christmas day.  Her name is Michele Renee and she calls herself a spiritual medium.  The first time I saw her was over 4 years ago after my sister had passed away.  When she started the reading her first words were, "I have a Sylvia or Sonja here who wants to speak to you."  MY SISTER'S NAME IS SONJA!!   She proceeded to talk to my sister my mother and my father as if they were in the room.  Everything she said was spot on.

After my husband died I saw her again and told her how frustrated I was trying to locate accounts and financial information.  She told me where to look for a list of information my husband had left me.  I had looked in that spot 3 times before but looked again and found 5 handwritten pages with every account number and password!!!  I got to spend an hour with my husband.  He told me about his passing and how happy he is to be free of pain and he thanked me for sitting by his side and holding his hand until the end:)

I am a 100% believer in her abilities and I have referred many people to her and all have had great experiences (I never get a discount or kickback of any kind.  She just says thank you)  She has a very long wait to get an appointment but I always recommend putting your name on the waiting list too in case she has a cancellation.  She is expensive ($200.00 plus i think $10.00 for burning a CD of the session which I highly recommend so you can listen to it over and over) but to me it has been totally worth it.  I'm not sure if she does phone readings but her web site is michele@michelerenee.com and her phone number is 714-962-2092.  She is located in Southern California.

Barb -

she seems absolutely amazing - but you posted her email address not her website.  Does she have a website?

thanks for sharing your experience with her.

Judy

Sorry about that, Judy.  Yes, her website is www.michelerenee.com

I just made another appointment with her and her first opening was in October but I'm on the waiting list for a cancellation.

I have been to a psychic once when I was in my 20's.  She was very good but that was over 40 years ago.  I have never been to a medium and have and no sure I would want to go one.  I consult my Rune Stones on a daily basis now with the simple question of "What  do I need to know if my life now?".  I have only done one reading with my Tarot cards and need to get the energy and feel for them again.  I have not consulted either the Rune Stones or the Tarot cards in over 18 years so learning thier energy and letting them speak to me takes time.

Today and I began to go through my trunk and remove certain books to consult and read as I return to consulting both the Rune Stones and the Tarot cards.  One book is 'Gemstons, Crystals & Healing' by Thelma Isaacs.  Since I am drawn to certain stones, I felt it was time to begin to understand the energy, healing, protection and wisdom they impart to each person.  Turquoise is one which I am drawn to more than any other stone.  As I was reading the healing properties of  Turquoise I read the following:  "The native mineral could be the most important of the healing gemstones for Americans of all colors, for alll Americans have an Indian spirit, and the Indian spirit is in the land."  I had to stop and think about that for a moment but now I begin to understand my need for learning as much about the Native Americans of which I feel a very strong connection to.

I think deep down inside all of us we have the psyschic or medium ability.  We just need to learn how to connect with the inner self and the Spirit Warrior that we all have and become one with the inner selfl.  So for now my Rune stones are my constant companion as I travel this road of grief and sorrow in search of the ME as I move forward from the WE.

Very interesting Janet.  I have never heard of Rune Stones.  You will have to let us know how it goes as you learn more about it and get back into it.  Thanks for sharing.

well said.  Carl kept telling me to go to my roots...maybe that is part of this journey to Texas...my roots and beyond.  My great grandmother was Cherokee and my great grandfather was Cherokee and Irish on my moms side.  Dad's side kinda sketchy but sounds like a lot of Cherokee and Irish there as well and that side goes back to Tennessee.  I feel Carl's spirit constantly, I firmly believe animals have messages for us if only we listen.  I never got into the Runes but have had them read a few times in the past as well as tarot.  I was going thru my journal and I had jotted some notes from a reading that I now find interesting.  Said I would die at 36 and Carl in his 50s from a high building.  Once they start speaking of death I don't listen much anymore but did write down these for whatever reason.  Well I suppose you can say a piece of me did die at 36 as that is when Carl passed away.  He was transferred to the 11th floor for hospice in the end....and was 52.  I do believe many have the gift, many aren't in tune and others are scammer wanna be's.  I am learning to listen and allowing it to help me move forward.  Hence our move to Texas it has called so strongly and the more I get cold feet over this big move the stronger the pull is so I know something is waiting for us on a new path there and isn't going to allow me to back out.

Hi Barb,

Thanks for sharing.  Im so glad you had a good experience.  I am going to look her up.  I cant wait to do this.  So glad to find one in so. cal.

Michelle

I was in Sedona in May and decided to have my cards read on a whim. I figured I had nothing to lose since I had already lost the most important person in my life. I found it quite interesting. I am not really a spiritual person so I took some things with a grain of salt. She did hit some aspects of my personality and life bang on with very little information to go on, just my name and where I was from. I forget what the first card was, but she asked what I do for a living. When I told her I was a cruise consultant and she said I see a business, and I see it coming to an end. (I had just sold part of  my husband's business and made a decision to wind down the other one next year) I turned over the marriage card which perplexed and upset her visibly. At that point I had not told her my husband had passed away. She asked if I was and I said "Why?" Then she said, I don't want to upset you. It's not good what I see.  When I finally told her, she said that he was not happy where he was and that he was fighting to get back to me. No, he wouldn't be happy to be dead as he had too much living to do yet.  I also turned over a courage card and a success card. I came out with hope that I would make it. So overall it was a positive experience.

Here is my true story.  I went with a guy,  I was in a relationship at the time,  to a psychic he believed in.  She told me this fellow wasn't going to be the one I ended up with in the future.  She saw me in a relationship with a man with an unusual name and added he would have thick dark hair.  Lo and behold,  many months later I met a man with the unusual first name of Rand.  He had thick almost black hair. We ended up in a relationship and were together 27 years before he died in Dec 2011.  I'm a believer!  By the way that session was recorded and I still have it on tape.

Hi Marianne,

Thanks for sharing/  Im so glad it turned out to be a good experience.  If you wouldnt mind could you share her name and any other info you have.

Thanks, Michelle
