I LOVED the tattoos people shared on Facebook and hope to get a big collection here.
As for my LH, most of his ashes went into an elm tree we planted in our front yard at our new house. I won't attach the picture here because folks might think I THINK it's a picture of a tattoo but I'll post it somewhere else and then link it! (It's just a little sapling... a case where a picture tells way less than 1000 words!).

Permalink Reply by PsLove on May 18, 2012 at 8:08am idont know if anyone has heard of ashes into glass, but they are UK based (ship anywhere). I got a necklace made with Pauls ashes and they were brilliant...very respectful and they only use a very small amount. I wear the necklace every day and hold on to it when I am really low (picture below). P and I were also tattoo people (I have a both my feet done and one goes up my calf). I am designing a memorial tattoo in honor of my love and it will be about a quarter of my back...I will do it on 6/28 Pauls birthday so will post pictures when it is done!!!

Permalink Reply by Jouk on May 18, 2012 at 9:14am Pslove, thank you for the link, I like the tribute ring, I have emailed them to see if they can engrave it on the outside instead of the inside. I like the idea of a tattoo but my kids (adults) think I have lost the plot, I have put that on the back burner for now.
I love your pendant but I don't have room for one, I wear a gold locket that Dave bought me and a memorial necklace with our names and birth stones, they get tangled together so adding another one would be a bit much.
Permalink Reply by greenash514 on May 18, 2012 at 8:41am Tattoo I got for Tj. I got it on our one year wedding anniversary as a gift from my mom and sister. The bird flying above is Tj, the birds on the line are me, my 3 children, his one child, and our one son together. It is only my second tattoo, Tj loved tattoos and had 5, I was always too scared. Got my first in March and then this one. It is so easy to go get them done now, I feel like he is with me. :)
Permalink Reply by greenash514 on May 18, 2012 at 8:43am This is a daddy doll that we got for my son. He was born 3 weeks after my husband passed. I love it! Best thing we ever bought. I can throw him in the wash, he can bite, drool, kiss whatever he wants! ha! They make all kinds of things with pictures on them, and I have a voice box with it, so I can add his dads voice.
What I would like to do but have not done yet is take Daves walking stick he used before he needed the wheelchair and have a small urn that can be detached placed on top of the walking stick. That way when I go on my hikes I can take him with me. I plan on one day revisiting some of our favorite hiking places and visit some of those we had planned on in the future.
With the walking stick and urn attached I will release a little of him here and there. Not much, just enough to memorialize him as I go along on my journey.
