Dear Widowed Community,

Soaring Spirits would like to help any widowed people impacted by the disaster going on in Texas. Please post here if you are widowed and in need. We are working on a plan to provide support, and a list of current needs would be a good place to start.

We realize that this is just the beginning of this crisis as the weather continues and evacuations and rescues are underway. We will be asking how we can help often over the next several weeks and months as we expect the answer to change over time.

Anyone not impacted by Harvey and willing to help, stay tuned. We hope to have a list of ways to assist in the near future.

Please share this post, we want to reach as many of our widowed community as possible.

Costco is offering that anyone who works for them (system wide) and has extra, unwanted, or unused vacation hours, they can donate them to Costco workers in an around Houston. This will help replace some wages for those whose stores are closed right now.. Another example of a family taking care of an extended family.  :-) So if you can contact a Houston area Costco employee whose store is down right now, please pass the word along.
