I had such an amazing experience at Camp East, I HAVE to do it again!! If you're going, are you going early? Staying late? Traveling with anyone?

some nice shops in that Denver airport Lisa...in case you need some retail therapy. Couple of nice ladie's clothes shops...

Thanks Susan but I've gotten so much new stuff in the past month I could use 3 suit cases now for the trip. lol

I'm going! This will be my second trip and I am so looking forward to letting go of the mask and letting my widow hair down. What I love about it is it's 4 days where my defenses are down and it's okay to be a widow. Looking forward to seeing everyone there! I'll be there on Friday :)

If you're heading to Camp, you might want to consider purchasing a Tribute Tile for the Memory Wall.  If you purchased one for a previous Camp, you can bring it with you to this Camp and add it to the wall.  Here's a link to see and order your Tribute Tile:  http://www.campwidow.org/tribute-tile/

And here's Crystal (misshim11) at the Camp Widow East Saturday night banquet with her tile in the photo booth:

i'm going and very excited to have this experience and meet everyone.

Workshops for Camp Widow West have been posted!  Take a look to see what you want to sign up for. If you click on the workshop title it opens another window with more details.  You'll receive an email from SSLF when they're ready for you to sign up (I think they go in order of when you registered) so you don't need to do anything just yet.

Was just wondering how you sign up for certain workshops.

It is getting closer.....

Judy - Read my message just above yours.  You'll receive an email when they're ready for you to sign up for workshops.

We will probably be there at registration at 9:00 am --- I'm going with Kitty Mom.

Nervous and excited and not knowing what to expect at the same time.

I'm going this year. Last year wanted to go but it was just after the 2nd year anniversary and I was a bit too fragile, having just found WV and the floodgates had opened up. But made some good friends in those early days and hope to meet a lot of them at camp.

Tom and Lisa are picking me up and doing all the driving, so I will be ready for workshop action. Am a bit worried about all the glam shots of strapless dresses. Haven't worn a dress since 1975! oh well, time to get my Def Leopard tshirt out and sequined hightops and make some jools to go with!

Anyone know the reservation count--how many have signed up so far?

So happy you're attending, Susan.  Please don't spend a moment worrying about the Saturday night banquet. There were fancy evening gowns, cocktail dresses, regular dresses, pant suits, slacks and tops. You will not feel out of place at all ... just add some sequins to you Def tshirt! The rest of the weekend is very casual and comfy.  Take a look at the photos on the Soaring Spirits FB page and you might feel better about it.

I haven't heard anything official, but at one point someone mentioned we could be close to 400! I think there were around 120 at the first Camp Widow East in April, and around 275 at the San Diego Camp last year.

I'm driving down from the L.A./Ventura County area; can offer rides to up to 3 people!  I'd love to have the company!  I'm leaving on Thursday and returning Sunday morning.  Not sure how the contact stuff works as this is my first time... maybe someone can advise me?
