Workshop details are now listed on the Camp Widow site.  Just click on the + beside the workshop to open it up to see a description and who the presenter is.  Here's a link to the page where you can access the workshops:

Registered Campers will receive an email - probably within the next 2 weeks - that will allow you to make your workshop selections. None of our workshops have a limitation on the number who can attend, and you can change your mind once there if you'd like.

Someone in the chat room mentioned wondering about restaurants, so here's the page where you can see what is in the hotel and nearby:

Our Thursday meetup is held in the Champions Bar just off the hotel lobby.

I decided to do a little stat gathering from our database to give you all an idea of who is coming to Tampa based on registrations to date:

  • 209 registered
  • 13 from Canada (2 Provinces represented)
  • 1 from Ireland
  • 1 from Mexico
  • 28 different US states represented
  • 25 widowers
  • 119 First-Time Campers
  • 29 at second Camp
  • 39 have attended 2-5 Camps
  • 22 have attended more than 5 Camps

Hi Dianne! This is so great that you all are so giving of your time. It's such a wonderful gift to those in grief. I don't think I can swing the Tampa camp right now. Too many bills coming up. Will Michele be giving the keynote at the Toronto camp?

Would love to see you in Toronto, Tess. I love each of our Camps, but must admit that Toronto is my favorite. I love that city and the people and the smaller size of this location.

Yes, Michele will do all of the Keynotes for our 2018 Camps.  We'll start using guest Keynote speakers in 2019.
