Hello Jeri & Krusty.  Glad you introduced yourself.

Krusty-Birthdays are super tough.  I'll be thinking of you then, as I am now.  29 is too young.

Jeri-Unbelievable to be pregnant and widowed, something I simply cannot imagine.  My heart goes out to you.

Hey everyone. I'm a 26 year old mother of a crazy 3 year old boy. I was widowed at 22 years old, 10 months pregnant.

Well, I'm here everyone.  Peter, you arent the oldest now.  I'll be 31 this summer, so the same age as you. I was just barely 29 when my husband Barry passed.  This sunday will be his 31st birthday actually, hard to believe we met when we were 18.  it seems like a lifetime ago.  When barry died I felt like I was starting my life over like I was fresh out of high school...except I had 4 kids, a mini van, a dog and two cats.  29 is too young to be widowed.

No way Peter...very weird.  This was the first anniversary that I felt "happy" on the day.  Today the stuff I'm battling is with my current boyfriend, and working our relationship through my widowhood and grief struggles.  It's NOT easy.

Good Morning fellow widows and widowers.  I'm Brenda-I became a widow at 24 years of age.  I'm now 26.  Quite a blog at an early age.

Naaisha & Peter-I know you both have young children, so my hugs to you both.

I was just thinking to myself that there aren't very many of us truly young widows and widowers on here with our group only having 3 "of age" members, but then I realized that we're old enough that there could actually be a group younger than us now, "Born in the 90s" could be needed any day.  I don't feel so young anymore, especially being as I'm the oldest here being actually born in 1980...
