Hi.  My name is Jonathan from upstate NY.  Just lost my wife of 35 years 4 1/2 weeks ago.  Happened very suddenly while we were on a trip overseas.  Was hospitalized for 10 days at end of our vacation and I returned alone to prepare for her funeral.  Is there anyone who lives in the Albany NY/Capital District area?

Hi, Jonathan. I lost my husband a month ago on Dec 12.  I had been his caregiver for about ten years. They were good years, with some health issues as a result of the stem cell transplant. I always thought we would grow old together and that we would manage the health problems like we always had. Nothing prepared me for what I am going through now. Doing paperwork, calling up to tell people I need to do this and that because my husband's gone. The grief is still deep and clawing. I haven't been able to sleep properly. 2 to 3 hours a night for me now is a luxury.

Jonathan, I hope there's someone here from Albany NY/Capital area who can connect with you. Meanwhile, if you need to connect with someone, please message me.
