We remember ...

We lost a dear Widville member today and learned of the loss of another. We would like to provide this space for WVers to post photos and memories of their Widville friends who have passed.

I'm glad I found this group, There's a lot of good memories I wish to share.  She was a wonderful wife.  That's what makes it so hard looing her. We'd ride along in the car and she would read to me,  Now I make those trips alone.  What am I going to do without you, Anne?  Sometimes the pain just takes my breath away.   I miss you so.

Jim was taken from me suddenly and painfully. It has now been a year. There will never be another love for me as I am half a shell who now lacks the fire and passion we had. I wait to join him. How I miss you ever night when the lights go out. You told me to be strong and remember everything you taught me; but I need you here. I've loved you since you rescued me at 14 and have never loved anyone else. Thank you for loving me and contributing to the woman I am today. xox

I had no idea this was here. Oh, how I miss dear Fredx. </3 So many words of wisdom and so many much needed kicks in the ass I got from that dear man. Every day my Timehop pops up some dear gem from beloved Fred!! The hole in my heart is indescribable, as I know it is for so many here. One of my very fondest memories of Fredx was our gathering at Arnie's.....and also that at the Bean. I miss our get togethers and our Fred. <3

I am so sad to learn of Hendrixx's passing. I remember my first days on Widowed Village and how welcoming Fred was to me and others. I have a fond memory of dancing in my chair at midnight to music videos that were being exchanged among members, especially Fred. It was one of the first evenings I allowed myself to smile, sing and experience a fun moment. When grief had me by the throat, it was a wonderful release. I speak of that night often when I tell other widows and friends about WV. May he still be making beautiful music where his soul resides.

Will always remember you Fred - our private chats during my darkest times and the love and joy you brought in Happy Towners and also to WV - those of us that got to know you were very lucky.  I was very saddened and shocked when I heard of your transition.

Dear Sweet Man...for all the kind and understanding words, for the private conversations, for the insight and the closeness...for so much Fred...I will always remember you with affection and know that one day that train trip between here and there WILL take place...may your soul rest in peace and your spirit know how many loved you and were  blessed with your encompassing  compassion. in peace and thank you for chatting and sharing your story and your time.

God hold all our fellow widows and widowers close at this time of loss and help us to keep hope alive and to care for one another here and now while we can.
