Hi All - I received this poem from one of my grief counselors a while back. I have it posted on my refrigerator door and every time I read it it warms my spirit but I always end up crying. I am sure that by the time I post this I will be in tears again, but it is so much worth sharing ...

As I Sit In Heaven

As I sit in heaven

And watch you every day

I try to let you know with signs

I never went away

I hear you when you’re laughing

And I watch you as you sleep

I even place my arms around you

To calm you as you weep

I see you wish the days away

Begging to have me home

So I try to send you signs

So you know you are not alone

Don’t feel guilty that you have

Life that was denied to me

Heaven is truly beautiful

Just you wait and see

So live your life, laugh again

Enjoy yourself, be free

Then I know with every breath you take

You’ll be taking one for me

See, I am crying again, just like I said ... but a truly beautiful prayer ...

Wow - yes, beautiful and yes, tears.  :)  Thank you for sharing.

That's beautiful, and I'm crying. Good crying. Thank you so much for sharing it with us.

This is truly beautiful. Thank you for posting Miket. Now I am crying with you.

Thank you all for your warm responses. I guess there can be good cries among all of those painful ones. Thanks so much.
