Joyce, HUGS. I am so sorry about the dates. I get that way. I wish also that I can just forget, but then sometimes I think they are just a tribute to our love for them. HUGS!!!

t2, thinking of you today.

@Joyce, I so understand.  I hope tomorrow is a better day for you.  Be gentle and kind with yourself.

@t2I will be thinking out you tomorrow.  Do the best you can.  I am releasing a ballon from my patio on the 24th.  It would have been our 26th.  I am thinking about also seeing if my son would like to release one as well.

One breath, one step and one day at a time is all we can do.  Peace, love and prayers to all who have lost a partner.

As I was writing a response to someone's post I realized that on May 15, 2009, Tom was first diagnosed with esophageal cancer and my life has gone down hill ever since.  I so wish I could forget dates instead of remembering them all!

Tomorrow would be our 3rd wedding anniversary. We couldn't celebrate it last year because of the schedules of treatments. We said we'd go down to where we were married and celebrate. I'm still going...but it will be tough.

Not enery.  Took three years to get the terminte damage repaired.  I keep asking myself, "Why could they have not done this when Jim was alive?"

One wall is painted, well almost. Forget I still have a little area at the top that I need to do so guess I will do that here in a minute and then be finished with one wall.  Now to get the other three painted in the living room and dining area and I will be finished with one thing.  Hopefully I can hang my curtains back up today in the living room.   It is amazing how a new coat of paint makes everything look better.  Slowly but surely I am getting things done. Next projects are kitchen, then my bedroom, put flooring downin living room/dining area and my bedroom along with new baseboards and redo downstairs bathroom.  I also need to redo the stairs but that is the last thing on my list of to do's around here. Think I will be quite busy this year with everything that I have to do around here.  I will definitely need a vacation when all of this is done considering I am doing it all on my own, except a neighbor who is going to give me guidance and redo my plumbing and move an electrical socket for me in the bathroom.  This should prove to be a very interesting learning experience for me and a lot of physical ativity involved as well.

Now if management will get the patio done soon, French drain put in and hopefully foundation leveled everything will be in good shape.

Good to see you back here Rev. Teri.  LJ1 I hope you had a good Mother's Day.  My husband liked habanero peppers.
