"Hello from Colorado. I became a widow Thanksgiving day 2016. The worse day of my life and from there it became the most excruciating pain. Some days the pain was so horrendous that I couldn't breath. You all know that…"
Hello, Butterflywingz. I am also from Colorado. I also lost my husband in Nov. 2016...on the 10th. We have already done some "first without"s but now we have to face the first anniversary of our loss. This is a big one. I am doing well the majority of the days now but cannot even anticipate how I will feel when Nov. 10th rolls around. In some ways, it seems like it came quickly. In others, it still does not seem real. I miss my John with every fiber of my being but I am also honoring my committment to him to "be ok." Some times I have to put my mask on and present a good face for others but each day IS becoming easier. Peace and joy are out there for us all somewhere. When and how we find it? Different for everyone. I wish it for you and wish you a stress-free holiday season. Hugs to a fellow griever...PatM (Prissy) from our lovely state of CO
