- In January of 2011 I lost my dear wife, of nearly 21 years of a very good marriage, to recurrent breast cancer. I have three children living at home, ages 20, 17 and 14. About 4 months after my wife's death I started to date a very nice lady. She was a friend of my wife. I have come to love her deeply and she me but my kids are causing difficulties with our relationship.
