One of the things about my marriage was that Steve handeled the finacial stuff, even did our taxes. Because we knew the prognosis early, he did many things to simplyfy stuff for me, and we talked a lot about me taking over. Thanx for the follow up...yes, it is a tragic disease and those living through it with someone they love are changed forever...DJ was the victim of colon ca. Mets to the liver; she survived a couple of months short of 4 years, and for most of the time, was pain free and active..having endured the ordeal of being left, and having to reset your life no doubt can help with the journey ahead...wishing you Peace and Healing,

Suz said… Hi Josephine. I am so sorry about your husband. There is so little that helps pancreatic cancer. I am amazed you were able to do anything after the funeral. I meant to friend you right after I read your note but I was not sure exactly how to do that!
