Hi Maria, I was thinking of you today and just wanted to send you some hugs. I found today to be very hard and have had quite a few bouts of crying. It surprises me as I thought I would be all cried out by now
Hopefully your family is with you and helps you get thru today. Keep in touch, Debbie
Dear Marie So very glad that the John Denver song was what you needed for your husbands Memorial. I think it is beautiful and hope to get a copy of it. John has that gentleness and passion that my Wes had. I have never heard of this song before.. all John's other songs are put forward but this one seems to have got misssed out. I am planning a Celebration for my beloved in a couple of weeks.
Going to sing songs, talk about his love, read Anniversary cards and more to a small group of friends at home. Life is so painful and difficult and I don't feel I have anything to live for either. Whatever one does - nothing heals the loss.
Thanks for your friend request. I'm sorry about the loss of your high school sweetheart! 35 years is such an amazing amount of time to share with the one you love. On 11/9, it will be 14 years that I lost my husband. Sometimes it feels like it was just yesterday & then sometimes it feels like it's been forever. On 9/22, it will be a year that I lost my beautiful boyfriend. Every journey is different & you have to listen to your heart to follow the right path for you. I have always felt so alone with being widowed twice before the age of 45 & this website has changed that for me.
