just wanted to say your story touched me. my Richard passed last fall suddenly after being given the news that he would need a second whipple procedure to remove his entire pancreas at the age of just 26 (very rare). He was headed straight for pancreatic cancer, but of course passed before the surgery took place. I always wonder how life would have been for him post surgery, (trying to figure out why he "accidentally" took it into his own hands essentially to leave us) and it touched me that you were so strong to handle your husbands illness. hope you are well. thank u for sharing.
