oh my! so sorry for you.. i am a nurse as well and i also performed cpr on my husband Rob and my daughter in same day. 12/12/12 my husband had a PE at 630 am then she seized at he funeral home ... she is ok .. they say stress??? anyway... i have not thought about this bridge to cross .... it will be hard .... it seems there are a lot of nurses here... and i am sure all our thoughts and prayers will be with you.

Hello MissingMyDavid I am so sorry for your loss. I never really know what to say but welcome to this site. It is so very hard for people who have not lost their significant other to understand what your going through. People here all have lost their love and understand. I lost my husband suddenly on Easter Sunday 2012 we were married almost 30 years. All I can say is it does get better very,very slowly and there is hope. welcome missingmydavid.....so sorry to hear of your loss...my hubby passed away 6 weeks tomorrow...I am 51, we were married 27 years and have 2 grown sons 23 and 25..the people here have been very understanding and "get it"....when I think I am losing my mind I come here for reassurance that i am not....
