"I am an eye doctor,and an only parent. They do it because people will schedule all four of their kids, and then not bother to show up. You now have a whole afternoon with no revenue, and staff with nothing to do. I don't restrict my schedule…"

"I was confused as well what to say with this question.  I saw on this site the term "only parent"...which I think sums it up pretty well.  We have no one else to share parenting of our children we are the only ones."

"haleO - yes you can hide the status (just like hiding the year of your birthday).  I did change mine to widowed but still hid the status.   I didn't like the thought of it just out there to see if you know what I mean. "
