Hello Timelord - I feel your pain also.  My husband has been gone going on 6 yrs in Feb '18....I have a "new normal"... do I like it - some days yes and somedays no, but I guess acceptance is the key.  And we move on.

Take care

Laurel

Hi Timelord - my story is pretty much the same - 47, 2 kids 15 and 19, married at 22 - he was 25. We found out he had stage IV liver cancer in July of 2011 and he was gone in April of 2012. Met in college at the University of Iowa where our son is now attending. Life goes on - there is much to celebrate and I don't want to miss anything.
