I just joined this site today, so this is my first post. I noticed that others often post their story, so here's mine. My husband passed away 33 days ago, from lung cancer. We were just short of 25 years together. Even though we knew the statistics, his death felt very sudden just the same.

Ronnie said… wow! 9 weeks! The only thing I have to say to you is my own experience. At 9 weeks I decided to stop taking xannax and drinking massive amounts of jack daniels. Now it has been 7 months. One of my favorite books I i found was
I Wasn't Ready to Say Goodbye: Surviving, Coping and Healing After the Sudden Death of a Loved One.
The title really does not give this book much justice, there is so much more to this book. Hope this helps in any way. love ronnie
