My condolences to all of you, but as you all know that is a useless statement.  I saw this article and recalled how I had chest pains and all kinds of weird symptoms and thought it may help some of you.  A broken heart is dangerous. Read the comments too.  It is a struggle but you must make an effort to get through it.  For those whose loss is recent, don't try too hard, just rest as much as you can.  But I hope this helps someone out there.…See More

Yes, I agree, but for the first 3 days it is a period of adjustment, I believe this is their period of time for deciding which option they want. Also, if they have decided to move on, it is their opportunity to say goodbye to their loved ones.

Welcome cloudwatcher: I'm sorry for your loss but I'm glad you found your way to this site. I hope you will find the same comfort and understanding here at Widowed Village that I have.
