Different aspects of the pain and sadness.

I think we all can agree that none of our parted loved ones would want us to feel the pain and sadness that we feel but it's really not like any of us can really help it.  One minute we would be "okay" and the next minute that tidal wave of pain just sweeps over our grieving shores, blanketing us.  I know that it comes and goes and just as we can't control the gravity of the moon and sun to try to control the tide, we can't control the pangs.I've been really thinking about my grief and realized…See More

Some collection of quotes that I found.

Not sure if it will help anyone but here are some quotes that I randomly came across while I grieve by searching the internet."The pain of grief is just as much part of life as the joy of love: it is perhaps the price we pay for love, the cost of commitment. To ignore this fact, or to pretend that it is not so, is to put on emotional blinkers which leave us unprepared for the losses that will inevitably occur in our own lives and unprepared to help others cope with losses in theirs." - Dr.…See More

Thank you Loveboo.  I don’t know why bad things happen to good people.  Honestly, I don’t believe your wife or my husband are feeling anguish right now.  I think they received their “final reward” that we live for BECAUSE they were good people and they are in bliss just waiting for us.

I too believe love is the most important thing.  And God is love.  Perhaps we are suffering but I believe theirs is over.  Being that your wife and Dennis were both young when they died, I think they are the fortunate ones.  The ones like us left behind are suffering because we love and miss them so much.  I agree with you I am no longer afraid of death either.

And also I believe in hope too.  I do hope and pray that your wife and my husband are free from all this suffering here on earth.  I am so proud of you loving your baby girl so much.  She has such a wonderful father.  I have not doubts you will be.  She is a lucky girl.  I love you all too.  And to let you know, I’ve added your wife to my prayer list and pray for her every day.

Take care,

Beth

Hello love boo, I read your post on "Pregnant Widows" . I'm so sorry for your loss, but glad you found widowed village. It's a good source of support. You might try reading some of the blogs, especially by Matt Logelin, who was in your situation. Take care of yourself.
