Hi Randy, I am so sorry for your loss. It is unimaginable. I lost my bestie, my dear sweet husband, my honey bunny, October 30th, 34 days ago. He was my everything and we were together 20 amazing years. Just typing this is breaking my heart. I know you too must be devestated. I wonder how people live through such an infinite loss. This giant loss that has no limits. Do you wonder about that too? I miss so much about my darling husband. Things I wasnt even aware existed, like his scent, or his PRESENCE. The comforting feeling I would get from him just walking in the room. The gift of knowing he accepted me exactly as I am, my flaws and secrets and quirks. The knowledge that he cared about me dearly... DEARLY..and sweetly..Oh my gosh... it is unfathomable the loss I feel. Losing my partner ...... My friend and my other half. The encourager of my dreams, The person who accepted me and allowed me to be me. ... . just being liked and approved of and defended and protected... These were such a common feelings I wasn't aware of them. I just knew our love... Have you realized things like that too? I dont know if pouring my feelings out is acceptable or possibly in poor taste. I don't know so many things now. I just recently joined this site and have not yet had the opportunity to explore what is and is not ok. but I saw your post and felt like I could share some of my feelings with someone that is also feeling so deeply it's hard to put into words. I thought too, that maybe I could share something useful or maybe even helpful in some small way. It is a little something that is helpful to me and I thought It was such a good suggestion.
Try to make new meaningful memories with the ones you love. Do count your Blessings. And do allow yourself to feel what ever it is you are feeling. You probably already know this but just in case.
