Most places actually only need a copy of the death certificate. I found that if I showed them the original they were happy to take a copy of it. So my experience is the opposite of Meema's: I ordered 15 and have…"
"Larry - Just wanted to say THANKS for your fabulously helpful post to brig's blog questions about SSA. Really very nice of you to provide the links and details and to remind her that the realtor may not have her best interests at heart.…"
I was lucky that the guy at social security told me about the reporting requirement. Nothing else in the paperwork told me about it.
As I understand it, they are supposed to send the form to you about 3 months before it is due. …"
I just looked up some information on social security that might be useful to you.
This website gives a lot of information on what kinds of expenditures are allowed and what the reporting requirements…"

Very nice to meet you too...so sorry it was under the circumstances that it was. I've been to two funerals since my husband passed (18 mos ago). He did not want a service of any kind so I find the ones I have attended since to have given me some ....peace is the only word I can come up with but that really isn't what I'm trying to describe! Regardless, hope to see you again and high speed in the mountains is just fine with me!

I'd love to do Newcombs - my adopted daughter is in from Boston and we are having brunch Saturday. If you are up to it next weekend, I should have the e back on the road by then.
