"HI Charlie.  I'm so sorry for your loss.  You have just started this journey.  Baby steps.  Be kind to yourself and accept the grief and the sadness.  If you hold it in, you won't make any progress at all, and even…"

"Yes, JustLynn, getting use to being in the house alone is hard.  Every time I go into a room I expect to see her, knowing she is gone.  I own a business that keeps my mind occupied during the week, but the weekends are hard.  "

Hello

I am Charlie and I lost my wife on May 25,2019 just one month shy of 54 years of marriage.  I stumbled onto this group with the hope of being able to talk to others who have suffered the loss of a loved one.  We went into the  hospital on a Friday and came home on hospice Monday and  she  was gone on Saturday.  I still work, I have a sales and repair and that keeps my mind occupied during the week, but the weekends are hard.  Anyway just wanted to say hello.See More
