Five years ago was our 'Houseaversary'

My husband wasn't the typical romantic.  I didn't get huge bouquets of roses on Valentine's Day or candlelit dinners for the night of the anniversary of our first kiss, but he would always surprise me in the best way when I really needed it.  Five years ago I was very pregnant and my husband sent me this Edible Arrangement.  I had no idea what day it was, but when I read the note I realized it marked one year since we moved in to our house.  He wasn't typical, but he was romantic.  He made me feel loved and special every day.  I miss him so much, wish we could celebrate together today

Orb, I know I would have liked Mike, especially how he added "Nice, Huh?"...very sweet.  And how darling that he was looking so forward to your next "occupant".

So wonderful! Thanks for sharing that. The ways my partner and i celebrated was thru spending time with each other. We both had everything we needed, wanted, as far as things, so our idea of a wonderful anniversary was a simple picnic at the beach, or a weekend in the mountains, or a huge family dinner with friends and family. Spending special time together. I miss those times so much, but it warms my heart that i experienced it. So grateful for those times and memories.

So sweet!! I had a guy like that too, not a big romantic, but he could always remember the anniversary of our first date, when we moved in together, etc.
