two days ago I was notified that my fiancé had been shot while at work. he was a  23yrs old marine. I was the last person he texted.

I am so sorry for your loss!  I hope you can find some comfort here, I have on the hardest days.  Hang in there and just take each day as it comes.  Sometimes that is all I can do and I decided that is okay.

I am so sorry, although I know that doesn't mean much right now. My husband was a vet, and when he passed, I found a group called TAPS (tragedy assistance program for survivors) that helped me navigate several complicated issues around VA benefits, etc.  Their phone number is 800-959-TAPS, and their website is www.taps.org.  You are in my prayers.

So sorry, such a tragedy.  I am just going to bed so will say some prayers for you.  I am sure others will be along to comment soon.  I am in Australia so a long way away but if I had longer arms I would reach out and hug you.  So here is a virtual (((hug)).
