12th Anniversary
Today would have been our 12th anniversary, instead its 1 yr and 4 mths since you died, the saddest day of my life. I've been trying to go forward with my life, use to be our life Making new dreams and wishes. Danny as you know I went on a date Saturday nite, and saw him again tuesday. It's not working out, for one reason Im not what he wants. I haven't been on the dating scene for years, and I surely don't understand it. What happened to two people getting to know one another before the TALK!!!. Danny you use to laugh and say "Oh Jackie I love it your so naive." Yes Im very naive in this department, and I care to stay that way. Back to the dreams.

So sorry it didn't work out Jackie, I don't have any desire to even try dating but I do know if I ever do I'm with you. If the bedroom is what they thing their first stop should be they better just keep on moving. Everyone wants to skip right to the prize, I think the journey is more important, and it makes the prize more worth receiving. But then I've always been told I have an old soul from the time I was young.

Glad Im not alone on this subject...Twinsmom good luck with your new man- sounds like he maybe a keeper, Linda Lou, Im old school too- my clothes are staying on. lol Wanderer, yes I was "gifted" with Danny- I should have cloned him in case I needed to have him again- wonder if I might met up with his twin ( you know they say we all have a twin out there- except for me, cause I am a twin!!). Cyndi- I want a man in my life-but not all in one night!1

The whole new dating scene stinks..I guess I am a old school and these dumkoffs don't deserve what we really have to offer..if it's meant to be God will send that 2nd right person.. Just my opinion..

Ha I get it....I went on date on Saturday too...although have been catching up with this guy informally for about 3 weeks. Sat night the kids stayed at the grannies so it was a do I or don't I sleep over....well decided the do I although I said to him cuddles only - not ready for anything else. Thank God he was fine about it 'no rush' he said. Still I didn't feel right and I didn't sleep all night. But at least we are still planning on catch ups which is a good sign. And I was true to myself - even better. But yes I also commented today that I am of old fashioned values that I need to catch up to the 21st century but in the end my values are what makes me me. I don't need to change for anyone else. This is what makes me me and and I tend to stay that way :)
