1Year....
How do we start over - It's been 1 year and I understand everyone's life is moving on - I was with my high school sweetheart and best friend for 40 years - children are now married - it still hurts....

Same here ..... it will be a year in August (1 1/2 months before our 30 yr anniversary). I've been slowly getting on with my life but at times the sadness is overwhelming.

We were married 37 years also. My only daughter is deeply involved in a "near marriage" and it gets pretty lonely around here. i am only about four months out, but already I see some moving on. It hurts me, too.

I too am like you....we were married 37 years. He was my everything and I am totally lost without him. It will be three months on 6/24.
