Yes, I believe I am. And it seems that I realize that at the strangest times. Forgot to set my trash out last night so set my alarm and got up early today --- before day light. I made coffee and turned on the news waiting for it to get light enough to wheel my trash can to the road. There are no street lights out here in the country! The sky was just starting to lighten when I went outside. As I got to the end of my driveway with the trash can, I looked up at the sky. It was a gorgeous pink from the rising sun. In the distance were the dark outlines of rolling farm fields and trees. A new beginning. I thanked God for another day. Even though I know that a good day is not always guaranteed for anyone, I was lucky to see that moment this morning. Hoping that all of you will have a lucky moment today. Peace to us all.

Love your blog. I can relate. We are faced with so many challenges that we often fail to see the beauty that surrounds us. I go for walks and try to take in everything, even the clouds in the beautiful blue sky. Guess we have to be aware of the bigger picture in order to ground ourselves. Counting our blessings is another important way.

As I went for a long drive yesterday, not only were the fall colors of New England amazing, but the sky and clouds were gorgeous all day - beautiful patterns like a mackerel sky.
