Today is Bob's 10th year anniversary ...

Today our 23 year old daughter was diagnosed with MS ...

Today my 32 year old nephew was diagnosed with tumors on his pituitary gland ...

Two days after Bob's death, I had a dream of my daughter & nephews w/ravens flying around ...

Never could figure out why this particular nephew was in the dream instead of his brother who died 9 months prior ...

Not only is today's date darker, it is sadly more meaningful ...

I hate June 7th ...

SweetMelissa,
When I read your blog, I didn't realize the diagnosis of your daughter and nephew were just days ago. So very sorry. Both situations are frightening, concerning and life-altering. Sending prayers your way for you and your family, wishing the best outcome for these two young people just starting out in life. I can only imagine how hard this is for you but try to hold onto hope. I don't know a whole lot about MS but sometime there can be a long time between episodes or flares.

((( Hugs WithoutJim & Callie))) ...

Your support/responses are very much appreciated ...

I just could not believe we were in the same hospital my husband died at on the day of his anniversary ...

My daughter is in alot of pain in her legs ...

The doctors have said MS is different as well as less progressive for women ...

She may not be able to continue her education in physical therapy instead be a patient ...

At this point, school will be on hold till she is able to walk w/out limping, numbness & pain ...

She takes 25 steroid pills a day, no painkillers yet ...

My nephew will be on life long medication b/c tumors on the pituitary are inoperable ...

He has fatigue & blurry vision, however, it will take time for his meds to kick in ...

He was diagnosed at the hospital was my daughter was at in a different state ...

My brother & myself are beside ourselves ...

Had these happened to us, I don't think it would be as difficult to accept ...

My brother is 69 years old, I'mean 59 ...

Our children are so young w/their lives ahead of them ...

Neither are married or have children ...

I pray their lives will have peace & happiness ...

Sending you a hug. We know that time has a healing effect, yet there are still days like this. Hope tomorrow is a better one!
