Widowed Village

A community of peers created by the Soaring Spirits Loss Foundation

Read this on Facebook this morning and thought it was a good one to share.  I like "moving forward" much better than "moving on!!!"

Your loved one is always a part of you. Therefore, when you 'move forward' (as opposed to move on), you take them with you. They are never more than a heartbeat away. They infuse your every breath with their love and their influence in your life. Thus, when you reengage with life bit by bit, they are forever with you.

Hi Kathy,

Totally agree with all you say...we move on, with the memory of the events of our lives with our partners as integral parts of ourselves in the different life....thank you for posting your perspective....
