I lost my husband Feb 1. My grandson saw him have the heart attack. He had COPD for many years and was diagnosed  with heart failure  in Nov. He went  downhill  so quickly.  He had a valve that was regurgitating and nothing they could do.  He could not eat, drink, he lost weight like crazy. He never lost his mind....always sharp. I am 52, he was 69. We met in church.  We were best friends  before we ever dated. In fact I became a Christian  at that church.  I tried not to love him but when God says "I've given you the desires of your heart ". 14 years later.....and now I grieve every hour for my best friend and the love of my life. He touched  so many bbn people. My grandson to this day still talks about Poppy being in heaven with the angels  and how Poppy thought him to use tools, leaf blower, etc. Poppy thought him that everyone would die. And it was  ok.....God took care of everyone  in heaven....he told  my son this the night after Poppy died.....

I'm so sorry for your loss. Your husband must have been such an amazing, wonderful person. And I'm sure your grandson will treasure those memories of your husband teaching him how to use tools, etc. forever. I'm so sorry you have to go through this. Sending many hugs your way.
