About an hour from now she would speak her last words to me.
"I always loved you"
So as I sit here this morning, drinking my coffee...
She blessed so many lives.

Thank you Rae. Sorry for your loss too. I have much to be grateful for.
So sorry for your loss, as well as everyone else here. One of the blessings in all of this is to realize how deeply some of our partners/spouses/lovers impacted the lives of everyone around them. I imagine this journey is a lot harder if you can never pick out the good parts.
Thank you Jan, lovie & Sabra.
My deepest condolences...so very touching.
"I always loved you." Those poignant words will always stay with you...the gift that keeps on giving. Whether it was for 27 years or 37 years, you are so fortunate to have those words as her last gift to you.
Thank you sandytoes.
Thank you Judy.
I feel your heartache in these words. So hard to lose your "everything" and the one that loved you most. Hope the day has been bittersweet.
