Widowed Village

A community of peers created by the Soaring Spirits Loss Foundation

I'm a mile from Raleigh, NC and we've called it for the night. Tired, we dragged ourselves to the nearest Holiday Inn Express and booked a room for the night. I know i will not have a problem sleeping.

Friends have surprised me by going to the condo and cleaning it up for me. Along the way I've cried, laughed, and talked to my friend as she was driving...

Oh John how i miss your company. I miss your embrace yet i know you are with me.

Emy, the adventure begins! It's going to be okay. It may not be what you planned for your life, but it's going to be okay. John is with you forever.

Emy sending hugs,,and warm thoughts. I have seen how far you have come, dealing with adversity.. seeing a door slammed in your face... but you found the window. You have much more resilence, and it is coming from within you. You have hit some brick walls .... and look at you climbing over them. Let the tears flow, have some good fun and laughs on the trip. Know we are sending warm thoughts to you on this new chapter in your life.. love ya gal, Bonnie
