We're friends, not doctors, financial or legal professionals, and we're not "grief experts." But we are here, and we've been "there."

The abscense of a previously shared presence.
The reality that your beloved is no longer present.  That the presence belongs to what  was.
You feel the absence.
What is left is what it - the prsence - felt like.
The pain is in the tasting.
The absense is this beautiful hue.
You know it was love
All you have is to carry it with you.
The Tony, the love, the friendship, the sharing, the laughter.
The wonder and joy of your journey together
In all its splendour.
The beauty of your relationship.
The love that you lived together
Held together tenderly with trust and understanding.
You cherish and you know the pleasure of this privilege
That not many get to experience
What do you do with is too precious not to share.
It cannot be kept hidden under a blanket of grief.

It is a love.
Love has to flow and continue to grow.

Thank you for sharing this Valentine's day with me.
