Black Lotus: Everyone here understands. In the past I have met widows and widowers and I always offer my sympathy. But unfortunately until it happens to us we really don't understand. I'm so glad you found this site, you will find people in you exact situation and that is always helpful. ((Hugs))) My husband Tom died October 11 of this year after a battle with cancer. I just wish I could sleep through the holidays.

Sounds like we have a lot in common. I lost my fiance suddenly and it was 8 days before our daughter's first birthday. I hate that we are a part of this club, but thankful to find people in the same situation that can relate like none other.
