Princess Warrior Widow -- You and your love have been in my thoughts on your anniversary today. Thank you so much for your random acts of kindness -- I think it is a truly lovely way to mark these special days. Wishing you comfort and peace. Take care of yourself. eliana
Princess Warrior Widow- I saw your messages in Widowed in 2011 and Suddenly Widowed. I am sorry for your loss, but your positive attitude is inspiring. Simple joys of everyday life are to be treasured such as the bunny chewing the grass. The sound of the wind in the trees, the song of bird calling, the color of blue in the great big sky overhead. LIFE is a miracle and we are blessed that we were able to share it with someone on part of our journey. The pain is terrible that we endure with loss. Lately I have more good days than bad. I am glad to hear that things are better at the two year mark. I lost my husband 18 months ago on Dec. 12, 2011 after a nine month battle to cancer, and it was still a shock to me because I clung to hope despite witnessing his deterioration. Anyhow, I wish you continued peace, joy, healing and moving forward.
Hello Princess Warrior Widow -- I just saw your post in the Suddenly Widowed group, and noticed the date of your husband's death. My husband passed a year and a day after yours. I am so sorry for your loss, and I will keep you in my prayers on July 4. Take care of yourself.
