It is hard to balance being a mother and a grieving widow taking time for yourself is important but hard to do. How old is your toddler? My daughter is saying daddy a lot did your toddler do that if so what did you do?

Hi, I am trying to figure out the same thing. I am 10 months into this and what I have found that has been the best medicine for me is break once in a while. Caring for a toddler, working full time, and doing everything alone in between doesn't allow much time for grieving. Take some time for yourself as often as possible so you can be the best Mommy you can be. I have also found that writing in a journal helps me... it devotes at least a few minutes most nights to grieve and express what I am feeling at that time. Hang in there, you are not alone.
