My husband died of lung cancer. He did not smoke. (although that is the first thing ppl like to ask when they hear lung cancer). I am so sorry for the loss of your beautiful, young love.

I remember being devastated by Christopher Reeves's death. And dumbfounded when he wife died after that. I did not understand how that happened. Then my husband got the same diagnosis. Now I understand, but my heart does not and never will. This is a silent killer and dying by not being able to get any air is about the most horrible thing I can ever imagine.

Hugs to you. You are right about the loneliness.

Sting...yup widowhood stings. (((hugs))) rambling here...but....Everyone said i had him -"my Duke"wrapped around my finger and he did I. Funny..memory jogged as I listened to you sing...Met Sting once in NY City- was outside the hard rock cafe-best friend and I could not get in to eat because there was some premier going on -the late Christopher Reeves was also there with some other stars.whoopie and breakfast club christopher....He caught my eye and I silently mouthed "Super Man" when he came out side to hale a cab, he held his finger up to his lips telling me to hush. gave me a million dolllar smile as he slipped alone into the car. years later he married the beautiful Dana. I always thought about what would of happened if I had followed him into the 22years later...all three are gone...My Duke, Christopher and beautiful Dana- I loved and admired her spirit and love for her husband so much...when my husband went for his pre-chemo/radiation talk..they showed a photo of Dana...stupidly to make a point that you did not need to be a smoker to get lung cancer...ugh...I made a scene in the hospital administrators office the next day (eventually got an official apology)...they never once showed any living surviors of lung cancer there was no (HOPE). My husband and I where in shock...where was his lance armstrong to be found...Cancer Sucks. Death Sucks...Loneliness is a nightmare

Really nice, Tim - and thank you for sharing the words to your new song, "What I Mean When I Say Love" ... it's perfect.
