This is a song I found in a songbook of Billie's....I had never heard it while he lived. The video is odd, but the song just grips me gently and won't let go. Dave Carter was one of Billie's favorite singer-songwriters, and in 2002 Dave passed suddenly at 50 of a massive heart attack. His songs are so exquisite, I know why Billie was so devastated when Dave passed so young. Billie was the gentle soldier of my soul.
