Yes I have some who do. I find that any friends who know loss will bring him up. They know what it feels like. They know they aren’t reminding me and that I’m thinking about him anyways. I have heard that before but I didn’t know how true it was. I want people to talk about him.
I would have to say depending on the topic we’re talking about. I will be the one to bring up Barbs name.
It is still difficult for me to discuss Barb with my Son , Daughter in law and Granddaughters. They are not only grieving the Passing of One Grandmother , but Both Grandmothers, and A Great Grandmother within a two year span.
Talk about a Roller Coaster of Emotions.
Life is precious!

I find that I bring her up often in conversations with my friend. Maybe too often for some. In thinking about it, they don’t necessarily bring her up yet my immediate family does. How can she not come up having been apart of my life for 14 years, so will remain a part of me forever. So, I will likely bring her up forever.

I feel like I am the one most likely to bring him up. It seems kind of strange to me that friends stop talking about him.
