History Colorado is the proud steward of John Fielder’s Colorado Collection, an assortment of more than 6,000 photographs which immortalize the landscapes of nearly every county in the state. This collection represents Fielder’s life work and was distilled from the more than 200,000 photographs taken by Fielder over the last 50 years. Donated by Fielder in January 2023, it is now digitized and cataloged by History Colorado to make it easily accessible and searchable by the public.
