The two things my husband liked to do most were making art and fishing, so this little drawing of a fish reminds me of how much he loved life. I had the tattoo put on my inner left forearm where I can see it easily, and I feel like it also tells the world that he made a permanent mark on me, and whatever happens down the road, I'll never forget him. I'll tell you, it did hurt--the inner arm is a sensitive spot--but not unbearably so. The hardest part, though, was walking into the tattoo parlor. The guys are a little scary looking in there, but they were very respectful and kind, and I knew from research that they had a reputation for doing very good work.
I'd love to know if you decide to do it.

My losses are many in short times, a 19 yr old son, a wife of 21-1/2 yrs, a Dad and BF wife all in span of less than 7 months, new and very deep but I have found an amazing place of comfort and healing, this place has been a big part of it. The rest of my "healing" is for private conversations. Just wanted to say Hi and welcome to the club no one wanted to belong to.
